Infrared photography has come a long way. It used to be that the results were disappointing. No one made an infrared camera that could really give you a good image.
Today, that's all changed with digital photography. With digital photography, you can essentially tweak various settings on your digital camera and take infrared photos. Very good ones, I might add.
What do digital infrared prints look like? Well, they look like regular infrared film. What's so cool is that with the prices digital cameras sell for nowadays, just about anyone can afford to take infrared pictures.
You'll need a few accessories, though. A tripod, for instance. Also, an infrared filter is required to make your digital camera work like a regular infrared camera. Also, you'll probably want a wide angle lens.
There are several pluses for a digital infrared camera. For one thing, it enables you to look at the picture instantly. Also, it's a lot cheaper than an infrared camera used to be.
